The Best Ramen in the OC

The Atmosphere is really welcoming and everyone greets you when you walk in.  The fried chicken pieces are the best I have ever had, and the Ban Nai Ramen is truly Deep.
Ban Nai” is the most popular and well-known eatery of Kitakata Ramen with history for over half a century. With flat, wide and hand-crumpled curly noodle, clear but flavorful broth, and signature “Toro Chashu”, Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai has been providing the real Kitakata Ramen.

Kevin, I agree this little special Ramen house is the real deal and truly Deep.  Definitely on my list of must try at least every other week.

Opens for lunch at 11:00 to 2:45 and dinner 5:00 to 9:45.  Come early or be prepared to wait.  I was solo and waited 5 minutes at 11:30.  Line does move quickly because it is so good. Slurping up the soup goes rather fast.

There are over 75 locations in Japan and we are blessed to have one at our disposal in Costa Mesa.
