 Nothing like a great coat to add to your wardrobe in the fall. I was lucky to find this awesome purchase from Christian Dior in South Coast Plaza. My friend Julie Forbes who works at Dior spotted this gem in the back. Love at first sight. This will be my go to coat for fall and for a lifetime. It even made the window at Bergdorf's in New York. Watch out, this makes a perfect chic coat for a FLASHER.

Heading to LA to a red eye is always daunting. Why not leave after traffic and try a great new spot in Venice. Superba, on Lincoln Blvd is just a hop skip and a jump from the freeway. Cucina Enoteca,"California Italian Inspired Kitchen and Wine Shop" recently opened in Fashion Island. Being the huge food critic that I claim to be, needless to say My daughter McCall and I were up for the challenge. I ordered a lovely glass of Newton Unfiltered Chardonnay. It was deliciously buttery, a little on the pricey side which is OK. Slightly disappointed in the pour. They did ask if the could top it off when my lunch came which I thought was great customer service. The food was really very tasty and the service was impeccable. Read more
