Kim Fox, your resident OC Wino
After growing up in a very foodie family, traveling all over the world, and being lucky enough to experience cooking schools in both Italy and France, Kim started Fox's Fine Foods in 1993. Her first product, the ultimate pepper relish, hit the streets of California and New York along with four other products. After marketing, creating, and manufacturing fifteen different products and running a successful food company, Kim decided that the next best thing was to share her ideas of food, wine, travel, and simple fun adventures she experienced with her family and friends. She thinks she is an expert in all areas of fine dining, lifestyle, and fun. Just ask her! Kim knows.
The catchy phrase of the "pour" came about when dining at a restaurant in Laguna Beach. She realized that her $26 glass of wine took 5.2 minutes to finish because it was only 3 ounces.
With that BS, Kim decided to change the glass of wine to the pour, and let everybody know where the best wine and volume of the pour was served. Thus, the OC Wino was born.
The OC Wino is obsessed with good food, wine, and adventures. This Laguna Beach resident is an entrepreneur, a mother to Trent (17) and McCall (14), and friend to thousands... just ask and someone will know of the Fox.

Shelby Wax, the college student who knows how to use the computer and drink from a red cup
Shelby is an English major and Media Studies minor at Scripps College in Claremont, CA. She is a Pasadena native and recently Laguna Beach transplant. Kim has roped her into making this blog, going along with her antics, and editing her dictation after the OCWino has a hefty pour. When she's not at Kim's house, you can find Shelby working at Anthropologie in Fashion Island or interning at Los Angeles Magazine.
